Oral Surgery includes a diverse spectrum of treatments, ranging from simple extraction to complex oral and maxillofacial reconstructions.

At Dental Sense, we have the facilities and expertise to perform routine surgical procedures ranging from extractions and exposures to limited mucogingival treatments.

More importantly, with experience we know what can be safely and comfortably performed in the dental chair and what is better managed with the benefit of specialist expertise and a controlled setting.

Inhalational and / or oral sedation can be arranged. The dentist may request parents and or guardians wait in reception during clinical appointments.

Course of Action
At Dental Sense we will initially complete comprehensive clinical and radiographic examination, so as to assess suitability for treatment within the dental chair. If sedation is required, an introductory visit may be scheduled. Risks and complications associated with treatment will be discussed in detail prior to surgery. For more complicated procedures and / or at patient request, specialist referral will be sought.

Do you provide a warranty?
We provide a 3-year warranty against mechanical failure for all treatment provided, assuming patients comply with treatment plans in their entirety, with work being replaced at health fund rebate or equivalent.
