Dagmar Toman - Dental Therapist
Dagmar Toman started work at Dental Sense in 2004 as a Dental Hygienist. And completed her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene at Curtin University of Technology. This gave her an opportunity to continue working in the dental field in Australia and utilize her 8 years experience from Europe.
In February 2006 she accepted a part-time position at the University of Western Australia, School of Dentistry Periodontal Department’s “Smile Study”. This is a randomized control trial conducted at the King Edward Memorial Hospital in conjunction with the Oral Health Centre of Western Australia and involves investigating the association between periodontal disease and pre-term birth in pregnant women.
Her clinical interests include periodontal diseases, treatment and prevention of periodontal disease, and prevention of oral disease.
Dagmar is a self motivated person interested in further education to provide better periodontal and preventive care for patients.
